Matt Gunner, who is based in London, moved to England at the age of five from Jamaica. He grew up in the Brighton area, before living, working and travelling in Egypt, Jordan and Israel, where he worked retro-fitting hotels; and later moving to Leiden and Amsterdam, in Holland. On his arrival back in England, Matt moved to London to attend the University of Westminster, where he studied Contemporary Media Practice, specialising in film and video production.
