Natasha Carlish began her career as a theatre director on the fringe at theatres such as King's Head and Man in the Moon in London and the Traverse in Edinburgh. She went on to become a documentary producer making award winning films for Channel  4, Five, Carlton and International Distribution.

 

In 2002 she set up Dreamfinder Productions to develop and produce shorts and features. The first project, a short film Brown Paper Bag, was awarded the Turner Classic Movies Award in 2003 and the BAFTA in 2004.

 

Since then Natasha has produced over 50 short films, two documentaries, 15 Episodes of Doctors for BBC1 and she has a slate of features and television projects in development. Dreamfinder's first feature, the co-production Souled Out, began principle photograhy in the summer of 2008.
