Actaeon Films Ltd was incorporated in July 2004 by Daniel Cormack to produce feature-length theatrical motion pictures. Our company's focus is on films that use elements of established cinematic genres in innovative and original ways that will challenge and entertain a broad range of audiences, both in the UK and worldwide.
Our recent work includes the acclaimed 35mm drama Amelia and Michael (2007), starring Anthony Head and Natasha Powell, which premiered at the 31st Montreal World Film Festival and was shortlisted for the Akira Kurosawa Memorial Short Film Prize; the UK Film Council-backed HD comedy drama One Mother's Son (2007) starring Sally Bretton and Thomas Nelstrop which premiered at the 61st Edinburgh International Film Festival; and the HD comedy Nightwalking (2007) starring Raquel Cassidy and Lloyd Woolf.
Up coming projects include the pyschological thriller The Son, set to commence principal photography in late 2007.
